Recently there was a people’s rebellion which overthrew the military despot and established a popular government through the first democratic elections in the history of the country. The Government and the central bank of the country, The Central Bank of Utopia had an immediate problem to tackle. The country was facing a hitherto unprecedented high rate of inflation [of around 15%], which was believed to be largely attributed to excessive liquidity in the economy owing to booming private investment in the real estate sector of the country. The country has a dynamic export sector and exports contributed about 18% of the GDP. [Exports largely consisted of agricultural products, raw materials for textile industry amp; arts and handicrafts].The country depended exclusively on imports fo r its energy and fuel requirements, largely petroleum and diesel. Petroleum and diesel contributed 60% of the total import bill. Utopia has been a favored destination for FDI because of its natural and locational advantages in many metallurgical and mining industries. It also had a booming real estate and tourist sector which were also hot destinations for foreign investment. But now inflation was playing havoc in the minds of the public, the domestic business community, the exporters and importers, the foreign investors and the policy makers who for the first time were getting the freedom and opportunity to express their woes and concerns fearlessly to a government they had elected to power†. Being able to communicate about things with substance on a daily basis is a good way to keep in touch with your spouse rather you are married or just in a relationship status. When dealing with communication, I tend to hear only what I want to hear, or do not listen all the time. This type of situation can have a big impact being in a relationship. In the article, by Nara Schoenberg, the author discusses how true activ e listening can lead to more rewarding relationships and marriages. This is a true statement, because I know first hand what it feels like to be in type of situation. Mama is a hard working mother who is strong in her roots and ways. The character of Mama In Alice Walkers Everyday use perseveres through tough times and makes the most of what she has. She Is (as the story says on page 161) a big boned woman with rough, man working hands, can kill a hog as mercilessly as a man, can work outside all day and break ice water for washing. I love these things about her because I feel like I can relate to that. We are both hard workers and proud of it. Mama is humorous at times and tough at others.She can do it all except raise her daughters while fully understanding them. She seems to favor her youngest, Maggie, more than her oldest daughter, Dee because Maggie Is more withdrawn and quiet unlike Dee who is headstrong. Mama says she often fought off the temptation to shake her.
